Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much does it cost

A: A months subscription to Prime Mover is £75 per month, that equates to £6.25 per session, quite simply the cheapest Personal Training in the UK. Our off peak rate is £55 per month for lunchtimes and weekends.

Q: What if I can only attend 2 sessions a week?

A: We have an extensive timetable of sessions available but if that somehow doesn’t stretch to meet your needs you will still see amazing results from attending Prime Mover, check out Veronica’s story in the Testimonials section (insert link), she achieved her results from only attending twice a week while strictly following our dietary advice!

Q: What do I wear?

A: Just regular comfortable gym clothing and trainers, nothing that will restrict your movement, make sure you won’t be too hot too! Shorts, tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt etc are all perfectly suitable.

Q: Is there a joining/admin fee?

A: No, we want to make your experience at Prime Mover as smooth and simple as possible, all you pay is a month’s membership at your consultation and you’re good to go!

Q: Is there a long contract/tie in period

A: Not at all, we only ask you to give us 3 months so we can really maximise your results, and give us time to help break down any bad habits to ensure you not only lose fat but keep it off.

Q: Will I be too unfit?

A: All our sessions are designed to cater for varying fitness levels, you are able to work at your own pace, we will just ensure that your pace is hard for you; whatever other people in the session are doing is irrelevant. If you do consider yourself ‘too unfit’ we’re the people who can rectify that for you!

Q: Am I too old/young for Prime Mover?

A: Age is just a number, but, we do provide sessions for kids (Junior Mover), teens (Teen Mover) and the over 60’s (FIT60+) so everyone has a class that is suitable and they can feel at ease.

Q: What if I want to attend more than 3 sessions a week?

A: Simple, just go to our online bookings section and purchase a single session or a bundle if you want more and you’re good to go. Our system then allows you to book yourself into any available sessions you like.

Q: How long is a session?

A: Sessions are normally 45 minutes long, working any longer at a high intensity can be counter-productive, and we find we get the best results with people when working to this timeframe.

Our lunchtime sessions will be our ‘Express’ sessions, these will be condensed into 35 minutes, giving people more time to get changed and have some well deserved lunch before going back to work!

Q: How fast will I get results?

A: This is all down to the individual, the consistency with your sessions and the effort you put in, both in the sessions and at home with your nutrition, we will do our best to motivate you to A: turn up to sessions and B: work hard when you’re there, we also provide ongoing support with nutrition, general advice and tips on well-being.

Q: How do I book a session?

A: We have a simple to use online booking system where, once you’ve been to a consultation and signed up as a member, you get your own log-in and password so you can access the system anytime of the day or night and book yourself into whatever sessions are available.

You can book single sessions, multiple sessions for the month or even book recurring sessions if you know you want to come at the same time every week!

If you don’t have access to the internet you can call our team who will be happy to book the session for you.

Q: How do I cancel a session?

A: Easy, just go to the page you booked it and remove yourself from the session, or call one of the team if you can’t get access to the internet!

Q: Do you provide nutritional advice?

A: Yes, we give simple to follow nutritional advice and recommendations on positive lifestyle changes to ensure safe and permanent fat loss, they are principles we live by and we have gained real success with our clients too.

Q: Are there shower/changing facilities at Prime Mover?

A: Yes we have facilities for showering; please bring your own towel though!

Q: Will my progress be monitored/will I know if I’m making progress?

A: We complete a comprehensive consultation when you join us where your measurements are taken, then 3 months, 6 months and 9 months into your membership we take them again so we can chart your progress.
